The ap-ts there are super expensive, though for the rest I really like the opportunity to connect with landlords directly. What I find super inconvenient is that you can not view the ap-t in person. It makes the whole process insanely challenging.

Housing Anywhere is a complex platform for me. 1. It has a lot of unique housing that's not available elsewhere. 2. Most often, I talk directly to landlords. 3. The competition seems to be lower than on other platforms. 4. I can rent short- and long-term At the same time: 1. Prices (at least, in the Netherlands) are insanely high. Way higher than market prices 2. You have to be EXTREMELY careful when making a payment. I have seen a few scams (though they were quickly deleted), but most importantly, you need to be really sure you want to live in the apartment. If you decide not to rent it, or if unexpected details will come up during your conversations with landlord, you won't get a refund. 3. You're not allowed to view a home in-person. 4. Terms of Service are tricky, especially cancellation fees. 5. You need to buy subscription to react on listings.
