Apartment Roermond (or Appartement Roermond) is part of Rental Properties Nederland (Huurwoningen Nederland), a Dutch online platform connecting prospective tenants with rental properties across the Netherlands. Unlike most platforms we review, which offer a centralized website with a wide variety of listings, Rental Properties Nederland operates differently. They have created separate websites for each type of housing and city.
As a result, we identified 122 rental platforms, all sharing the exact same design but with slightly different names and tailored to specific housing types and locations throughout the Netherlands.
First, open the website. You’ll typically find only a few homes available. Unavailable ones will be marked as Rented out. Choose a home you’re interested in and click the Personal Response button. This will prompt you to create an account, which will be valid across all Rental Properties Nederland domains.
After creating your account, you’ll gain access to your dashboard, where you’ll need to fill in some personal information.
Once your details are complete, return to the website, pick a home, and click the Personal Response button again. This will redirect you to the pricing page, where you can choose a plan that suits your needs.
Note: Uprent team didn’t purchase a premium account this time (though we normally do), but it’s assumed that one premium account is valid across all Rental Properties Nederland websites.
Apartment Roermond offers three plans:
Is it worth it? Honestly, we’re not sure. On one hand, since not many people are likely to upgrade, the competition might be low. On the other hand, it’s quite expensive just to send a message to a landlord. While Kamernet has hundreds of available listings, Apartment Roermond only has a few. Upgrading might make sense if you plan to use multiple platforms under the Rental Properties Nederland umbrella, but probably not if you’re sticking to just one.
This is the biggest challenge with Apartment Roermond, and frankly, with any platform under Rental Properties Nederland (Huurwoningen Nederland): there are no online reviews! The only one we found is a single review, and even this one is about Kamer-Delft.nl.
It’s unclear whether the listings on these websites are genuine, as we couldn’t find anyone who subscribed and successfully received a response from landlords. Signing up feels like a gamble, so proceed with caution!
As the name suggests, Apartment Roermond specializes in apartments located in the Roermond area.
Everyone can add listings on the platform, including private landlords and real estate agents.
Hard to explain... Just check it out below:
In the past, many people used Google Sheets or Notion databases to track their rental applications — or didn’t track them at all — leading to missed opportunities and forgotten applications. With Uprent, every application is automatically saved to your dashboard. This allows you to easily manage and monitor all your applications in one place. Uprent also sends reminders for important follow-ups and automates tasks like creating Google Calendar events for viewings. You can even share your dashboard with your flatmate, allowing you to collaborate on the rental search.
