By using the Uprent website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

For home searchers, Uprent provides a platform to assist users in finding rental properties in the Netherlands. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information displayed on the platform. Uprent operates as a search engine and aggregator for rental listings. We index properties from various external sources to make them searchable in one place. We do not own, manage, or act as the broker for the properties listed, unless explicitly stated.
For landlords, Uprent acts as an intermediary (Intermediair) as defined in Article 7:425 of the Dutch Civil Code (Burgerlijk Wetboek). In this capacity, Uprent provides mediation services, including but not limited to: assistance with listing creation (media and texts), owner verification via Kadaster, property distribution across Uprent and external platforms, applications collection, candidate qualification (screening), drafting of rental agreements.
Uprent assists with the complete lead qualification process and does not act as a "doorgeefluik" (passive portal).
Uprent does not claim exclusivity. Landlords are free to work with other agents or platforms simultaneously.
In accordance with Dutch law, Uprent does not charge mediation fees to both the Landlord and the Tenant for the same successful rental agreement. Our commission for successful mediation is charged solely to the Landlord. Tenant subscriptions are for the use of premium platform tools and search automation, not for mediation.
3. Registration and User Accounts
Users may need to register for an account to access certain features. You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. Uprent reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for any reason.
Users must be at least 18 years old to register and use Uprent. By accessing or using the service, you represent and warrant that you meet the minimum age requirement.
Users are responsible for safeguarding their account information and agree to notify Uprent immediately of any unauthorized use of their account.
For Landlord accounts, Uprent verifies the user’s affiliation with the property using public data from the Dutch Kadaster. We reserve the right to request additional documentation or to refuse service if ownership or authorization cannot be established.
To comply with the WWFT (Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention Act) and security standards, Uprent may perform mandatory identity and ownership verification for all Landlords. We reserve the right to withhold publication of listings until such verification is completed.

Users retain ownership of their content but grant Uprent a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with providing and promoting the services.
